Embark on a picturesque journey through Yangshuo's breathtaking landscapes at 9:00 AM, as we traverse the scenic route known as the "Ten-Mile Gallery." Marvel at the stunning vistas such as the Peach Offering Longevity, the Dolphin Emerging from the Water, the Nun Descending the Mountain, the Flaming Mountain, the Pig's Belly Basking in the Sun, the Golden Cat Exiting the Cave, the Elephant and Horse Wonder Stone, the Dragon Horn Mountain, the Monkey's Worry, the Camel Crossing the River, the Qing'e Scenery, the Ancient Banyan Tree Beauty, and the Lady's Adornment. Bask in the refreshing breeze as you gaze upon the verdant mountains and trees, meander through the rural paths, and savor the fragrances of flowers, rice, and earth, immersing yourself in the beauty of Guilin's unique karst topography and the crystal-clear waters of the Li River.
Later, we arrive at the Ruyi Peak Scenic Area, the perfect vantage point to admire the spectacular karst peak forest and the picturesque rural scenery. Experience the creative landscapes of the sightseeing cable car, viewing platforms, suspension bridges, glass walkways, forest walks, and the Ruyi Cloud Top, which together form Yangshuo's first mountaintop natural park.
In the afternoon, we venture to the Yulong River for an unforgettable bamboo rafting experience. Surrounding the southwestern part of Yangshuo County, the Yulong River is a beautiful waterway, often praised as "not Li River, but better than Li River." With its flat and open fields, lush greenery, and the gentle breeze rustling through the rice waves, it offers a delightful scene. Here, you can truly experience the poetic charm of "a small bamboo raft floating in the river, with towering green mountains on both sides."
After the rafting adventure, we proceed to the Painted Fan Experience. Yangshuo's craft of painted fans has a history of over a thousand years, often themed around the landscapes of Guilin, making them highly memorable souvenirs. The fan ribs are made from local nanmu bamboo, and the fan surface is made of rice paper or silk, which is then crafted through a series of processes including painting, dyeing, mounting, pasting, threading, and lacquering. Under the guidance of skilled artisans, creating your own painted fan becomes an even more meaningful keepsake.
Warm Reminder: According to regulations by the water transport department, children under 1.2 meters and seniors over 70 years old are prohibited from riding bamboo rafts.
