Embark on a mesmerizing journey as we gather at 07:30 AM to explore the dual World Heritage Site, the legendary Lushan Scenic Area. Our ascent and descent, as well as the exploration of the scenic area, will be facilitated by local sightseeing vehicles, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
We will visit the historic Mei Lu Villa, the official residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling, offering a glimpse into the past and the elegance of a bygone era.
Next, we'll venture to the Han Kou, where the breathtaking view of China's largest freshwater lake, Poyang Lake, awaits us. From this vantage point, we can also admire the majestic Da Han Yang Peak, the highest peak of Lushan, and gaze upon the distant Wulao Peaks.
Our journey continues to the Lushan Waterfall in the Da Kou Scenic Area, accessible via a cable car from Han Kou. Here, you can marvel at the waterfall's grandeur, as described in the famous verse "The torrent plunges three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way falls from the ninth heaven."
No visit to Lushan is complete without a stop at the Lushan Botanical Garden, a must-visit spot for maple leaf enthusiasts. The garden is a testament to Lushan's enchanting autumn scenery, where the colors of the season paint the landscape in a palette of "autumn intoxication."
After a day filled with wonder and discovery, we will retire to our hotel, ready to rest and recharge for the next day's adventures.
