Norbulingka in Lhasa
Norbulingka was developed as a summer residence of the Dalai Lamas in the eighteenth century. UNESCO describes its palace buildings, gardens and their artistic relationship, and includes it within the Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace, Lhasa.
Choose the experience you want
This is a useful place to consider if your interests include Tibetan architecture, art and garden settings. Discuss how much time to allow alongside your other Lhasa visits, rather than treating every heritage site as interchangeable.
Check current admission arrangements and the travel requirements that apply to your journey before booking. This page does not establish permit eligibility or a current ticket price.
