Plan the practical details

Who this suits
For travellers who enjoy river views, food and exploring hillside streets. Tell us about stairs, walking limits and food preferences before a route is proposed.
How much time to allow
Use three full city days as an editorial starting point. Arrival and departure days are additional; a regional extension needs its own time in the plan.
What to combine
Decide whether the priority is the city itself or an extension such as Wulong. Compare the transfer time, walking and nights away before combining them.
Where to stay
Compare a base around your chosen city activities with one closer to the airport or railway departure. Confirm the exact hotel, room type, access and breakfast in the quote.
Getting here
Share your Jiangbei airport flight or exact railway station and arrival time. Compare public transport with a separately agreed private transfer; pickups are confirmed in the proposal.

Decide what you want from Chongqing

For a first visit, build your days around a few neighbourhoods instead of chasing every viewpoint. Jiefangbei, Hongya Cave and Chaotianmen give you a natural starting point on the central peninsula. Cross to Longmenhao for a different view of the city. Choose Ciqikou for a separate neighbourhood outing.

How many days should you allow?

Our suggested two-day itinerary concentrates on the city. The three-day itinerary adds a slower cultural day. With four full sightseeing days, you can consider a separate Dazu excursion. Arrival and departure take additional time; a four-calendar-day tour is a different proposition.

Wulong calls for a separate regional plan. Decide whether landscapes or city experiences matter more before adding transfers. The Dazu Rock Carvings suit travellers interested in religious art and history.

Make the practical choices

Compare places to stay, transport options, seasonal trade-offs and food choices. Tell us about stairs, walking limits, dietary needs and the pace you enjoy.

Turn your interests into a route

Explore things to do and private tour ideas. A trip request can start with your dates and two or three places you want to see. Your proposal will set out the route, services and price for you to consider.
